Painting the cherry trees by Steel Bridge March 28, 2017

Plein air painting the cherry trees along the Willamette River near the Steel Bridge in Portland Oregon today, March 28. Paul Lockhart and Kara Wilde joined me painting the trees pink. When the cherry tree bloom the tourist and locals all come out. Lots of people on the waterfront today.

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
