Painting Ross Island Bridge in the rain, March 14, 2017

Painting in the rain today at the CLSB in Portland Oregon. Wet on wet painting today. This is a do-over. Originally a market scene becomes Ross Island Bridge through the magic of plein air painting. Kara Wilde was also painting in the rain today. (The CLSB is the Collaborative Life Sciences Building of OSU, PSU and OHSU).

Plein air painting in the rain in Portland at the Oregon Maritime Museum aboard the Steamer Portland. Kara Wilde, Paul Lockhart , John Lehman, and I painted under the awning on the deck of the steamer. Nice view but cold and wet. Welcome to plein air painting in Portland.
